Certain places like CapitalOne offer a simple auto loan payment options button that moves 1-2 months to the back end of your loan. Other companies you may need to contact them and send in a hardship request or letter.

The good news is the effects of the virus on the economy cannot be doubted and there is a mass group of people affected in the same way. These financial institutions are already aware of this so a simple request should suffice.
